At Aurelius Manufacturing, building hydraulic cylinders is our day-to-day work. But from December 9 to December 18, the team came together to build something a little different.
During that time, Aurelius employees ran a company-wide food drive competition to support Family Pathways. Family Pathways provides food, housing stability, and other essential services to individuals and families in our community.
Six teams took part in the friendly competition: Dasher, Dancer, Vixen, Prancer, Comet, and Blitzen.
Throughout the drive, non-perishable food items came in steadily as teams worked to outdo one another while keeping the larger goal in focus. By the end of the drive, employees had donated more than 838 items in total. Team Blitzen led the charge with an impressive 287 items collected!
“I’m incredibly proud of our employees for taking this on themselves. Seeing the team step up to support Family Pathways says a lot about the kind of people we have here and the culture they continue to build.”
Ryan Nelson – President, Aurelius Manufacturing, Inc.
As Aurelius approaches its 100th year in business, the company’s connection to the surrounding communities remains strong. Efforts like this food drive are a reminder that those connections are sustained not just by longevity, but by employees who care enough to act.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this food drive a success. It was a great example of teamwork and generosity, and we appreciate Family Pathways for the important work they do every day.
